Minnesota Voices celebrates all things Minnesota from the State Fair and lumberjacks to music on a stick! Join us for inspired music by Minnesota composers including Bob Dylan, Libby Larsen, Prince, Semisonic, The Andrews Sisters and Ann Reed as well as sing-along favorites. Minnesota’s international roots are highlighted in Ruth McKenzie’s setting of Kalavala including her toe-tapping Give us Room to Roar and the heart-wrenching Oi Dai. By the Fireside, a piece commissioned by One Voice to commemorate the 20th anniversary of World AIDS Day, illustrates how the HIV-AIDS in Africa touches us here in Minnesota. True to One Voice tradition, the concert includes many light touches including Ann Reed's State Fair Song and Benjamin Britten's Lumberjack Chorus

Music from this concert will be performed on a state wide tour to Bemidji, Bigfork and Little Falls, MN June 21 – 23, 2013.
